Haven Recovery provides an integrated continuum of treatment, recovery, housing, healthcare, outreach, and practical support. People can enter Haven through many different doors—from a hospital referral or street-outreach connection to outpatient treatment or recovery housing—and receive coordinated support based on their individual needs.

Service 01

Outpatient Treatment: OP, IOP & PHP

Haven provides person-centered substance-use treatment for adults who need structured support while continuing to live in the community. Services are designed to meet people at the appropriate level of care and may include outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programming, partial hospitalization programming, individual and group services, case management, peer support, and coordination with healthcare and community providers.

Service 02

Broadway Drop-In Center

Haven's Broadway Drop-In Center offers a welcoming, low-barrier place where people experiencing homelessness, substance use, housing instability, or other barriers can access immediate support and connect with ongoing services. Contact Haven for current hours and availability.

Support may include:

• Meals and basic-needs assistance
• Hygiene supplies
• Shower access when available
• Help obtaining identification, benefits, and documents
• Case management and resource navigation
• Peer recovery support

• Harm-reduction education and supplies

Service 03

Street Outreach & Mobile Services

Haven's outreach team meets people where they are throughout the St. Louis community. Through street outreach and mobile services, the team provides practical support, builds trusting relationships, and helps people connect with healthcare, treatment, housing, and recovery resources.

Support may include:

• Basic-needs and hygiene supplies
• Meals and water
• Harm-reduction education
• Naloxone education and distribution
• Health and wellness supplies

• Case management and resource navigation
• Referrals to treatment and recovery services

Service 04

Recovery Housing, Triage & Respite

Haven provides supportive, substance-free housing for people building stability in recovery. Services include longer-term recovery housing as well as triage and short-term respite options for people who need immediate stabilization, support identifying the appropriate level of care, or help planning their next step.

Service 05

Recuperative Care / Medical Respite

Haven provides a safe place for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability to recover following hospitalization, illness, injury, or a medical procedure. Haven coordinates with hospitals, healthcare providers, home health, hospice, and community partners when additional medical services are required. Haven itself is not a hospital, skilled-nursing facility, or home-health provider.

• Support for medication management and follow-up appointments
• Coordination with hospital discharge teams

Case Management & Peer Support

Case management and peer support are integrated throughout Haven's programs. Haven is peer-led and employs people with lived experience throughout the organization. Our team works alongside each person to navigate systems, connect to resources, and build the skills and connections needed for long-term stability.

Community Housing

Haven helps individuals and families move toward stable community-based housing with ongoing support based on their needs. Services focus on helping people locate, secure, and maintain housing in the community over the long term.

Service 08

Workforce Development

Haven creates employment and workforce pathways for people whose histories of substance use, homelessness, justice involvement, or other barriers may limit traditional opportunities. Training and work experience may include peer-support pathways and practical construction-related skills.

Transportation Support

Haven coordinates transportation for eligible clients when transportation is a barrier to accessing treatment, healthcare, housing, benefits, employment, and other essential services. Haven Transportation is designed to help remove one of the most common practical obstacles to getting and staying connected to care.
